Growing up, Christina always gravitated to opportunities that challenged her creative mind. As a graduate from the Visual Arts program at York University, she looked for an outlet to explore her creative potential and share the ways of how she saw the world through her eyes.

She has also lent her creative eye to photography studios in and around the Greater Toronto Area, refining her skills and working alongside with many established and published photographers in both studio environments and on location sets. Not only did her knowledge of the industry grow, but so did her portfolio, becoming well versed in boudoir photography, dog portraits and agency headshots.

In 2018 House of Emerald was born and became a platform for her to make a mark in the photography world and share her passion for photographic content. She aspires to capture the details and essence of the people she encounters, the places she visits and things that make life worth living for, all through her camera lens.

House of Emerald Photography specializes in lifestyle portraits and documentary approaches, shooting everything from weddings to family portraits. Clients have applauded her distinctive stylistic approach of using pops of colour, stark contrasts and unique compositions.
